Four Seasons 57271 Remanufactured AC Compressor with Clutch - Compatible with Select Car Models - Perfect for AC Repair & Auto Maintenance

Purchased this for a 1988 Buick Skyhawk. I replaced the accumulator/dryer and expansion valve, and flushed the evaporator, condenser, and AC lines before installing the compressor. I drained and added new oil to the compressor just to be safe and transferred the pressure sensors from the old compressor to this new one. After pulling a vacuum for a few hours and charging the system with Duracool R12 replacement, everything seems to be working good so far. Only thing I have noticed is that the pulley on the compressor is extremely noisy, where's the old compressor didn't make a noise (it was a replacement put on 15 years ago). Enough that I debated exchanging it out, but I decided it wasn't worth the cost of refrigerant and the time to take the system apart, clean it out and put it back together again. Hopefully it never gives me any issues.
